Concrete Foundations and Substructure Work in Harry Stoke

Harry Stoke3 photos

We carried out foundation and substructure work in Harry Stoke, including concrete within foundation trenches and masonry below the future ground-floor level. These were related groundwork stages within the local construction work, before the buildings progressed above ground.

Forming concrete foundations

Our concrete work followed the excavated wall lines, including long runs and changes in direction. This established the foundation layout from which the subsequent building stages could develop.

Foundation work involves the internal wall positions as well as the outer boundary. The arrangement is specific to the building design and the site.

Building the below-ground masonry

The scope also included masonry above foundation level, with an applied coating on the external face. This work formed part of the transition between the foundations and the next construction stages.

The concrete and masonry work covered related stages in Harry Stoke. They should be understood as examples of our substructure scope, rather than a complete sequence for one individual plot.

Early groundwork for the wider build

These stages establish construction below the level of the finished building. They need to be considered alongside the floor layout and the services approaching the property.

We provide foundation and substructure groundwork in the Bristol area, from excavation through the early concrete and masonry stages.
