We carried out garden paving and preparation work beside a home in Harry Stoke. The task involved fitting the external works around the existing house, timber boundary and gate opening, with paving in place while preparation continued on the adjoining ground.
Working within the existing garden layout
Our working area sat close to the house and fence. We brought the paving along the building within that space, taking the existing access points as part of the layout.
Domestic paving has to connect with the way the property is used. Doors, gates and side passages affect the route as much as the size of the area to be paved.
Preparing the adjoining area
The work included ground preparation alongside the laid paving, with compaction equipment in use within the working area. Membrane and exposed ground remained part of the unfinished section.
This was an ongoing stage of the external works. The paved section and neighbouring ground had not yet reached the same point in the construction sequence.
