Concrete Floor Construction in Speedwell, Bristol

We carried out floor construction work in Speedwell, Bristol, covering supporting floor members and infill as well as a later continuous concrete surface stage. The work took place within building footprints defined by low perimeter walls.

Building the floor from its components

Part of our scope involved concrete floor members arranged across the footprint, with infill between them. This established the floor assembly within the surrounding masonry.

The supporting layout is a distinct construction stage. It comes before the floor takes on the continuous appearance associated with the later surface work.

Progressing the concrete floor surface

Our work also included a continuous floor surface within a low brick perimeter. Service entries were present near the front of that footprint, linking the floor work with the installation below it.

These tasks covered different stages within the site work. They do not depend on every plot reaching the same construction stage at the same time.

Coordinating floors with the wider build

The floor perimeter, supporting walls and service positions all form part of the same construction area. We consider that relationship when discussing the floor scope and the work around it.

We undertake floor construction and groundworks across Bristol, including projects progressing from substructure work towards the next building stages.
